OMEN by HP Laptop 15-ce0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I want to buy a HP OMEN Graphics Accelerator for my OMEN Laptop. To use this I need Thunderbolt.

I have checked the Manual where two options where shown. So, according to the manual my PC does not support Thunderbolt.

But then I talked to a supporter and he said me that Thunderblot would be availiable. And in the BIOS I have the option to do a "thunderbolt test". Now my question: Is there any way to find out if my PC supports Thunderbolt?

Thx

In order to look it up we would need the specific exact model number as the 15-ce0xx series includes some models with and some without Thunderbolt. Look at pp. 6 and 7 of the Manual here:

Manual

Item 6 on p. 6. If the USB-C port has a single big lightning bolt icon next to it then its Thunderbolt. If it has 2 icons: a standard usb icon and a smaller lightning bolt then it is HP Sleep and Charge with data transfer and Alt-DP but not Thunderbolt.

Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
