Does my laptop HP Omen 15-ce097nia support SSD?

I would like to know if my laptop has a slot for SSD. Actually I have 1TB sata.

If it does, iwhich one? Can I add SSD 1 TB to it?

Hi:

Yes, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's.

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.

If you want to install a 1 TB NVMe drive, that would be fine.   

The drive capacities listed in the manual are just what HP offered in the model series.

Can I add only 512 NVMe to my laptop along with 1TB sata drive? or can I add 1TB SSD along with the 1TB sata?

As I replied yesterday...If you want to install a 1 TB NVMe drive, that would be fine.

Is m.2 same speed as sata? Or NVMe is more rapid?

You're very welcome.

The product specs for your notebook indicate that it comes with a 1 TB 2.5" drive.

You cannot add another 2.5" drive to your notebook.

M.2 NVMe SSD's have faster read/write speeds than M.2 SATA drives do.

You can install a M.2 NVMe SSD in your notebook.

So I can keep the 1TB sata and add nvme ssd 1tb?

That is correct.

However, you will have to remove Windows from the 1 TB 2.5" drive, or the PC will always want to boot from the 2.5" drive first and not the SSD.

You can only use the 2.5" drive for storage.
