Hello, I am currently deciding to upgrade my monitor to one that consists of higher refresh rates than 60 hz. I am considering a 144 hz TN panel. The problem is, I don't actually know if my laptop itself is capable of supporting refresh rates higher than 60 hz. My laptop model is the ax243dx (as listed) with a GTX 1050, and I would love to know if my laptop does support HDMI 2.0. Cheers!

Hello @cabbage_fork
Yes it has HDMI 2.0 and should support 144Hz. But know that your graphics card is only a GTX 1050, so it will depend on what games you are running and the performance you will get. 1050 is not ideal at that rate for high end games.
Some users had issues with that series and HDMI sustaining high refresh rates and high resolutions like 4K. You dont have a DP port like the 17 inch series did, so I cant say for sure if you will have issues or not, based on what a few others have said.

Thank you for the response! However, I do understand that the 1050 is not a good graphics card for high framerate games on modern games. Soon, I will also be upgrading my graphics card, but for now I will settle with what I have. I only play not-so-intensive games on my laptop.
