HP OMEN 17-cb1002na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi
My first post,,,
I purchased an HP OMEN 17-cb1002na 2 days ago for a live TV switcher we have built on the basis that the sales specs showed it had TBolt 3 (it has) and also G-SYNC - yet I cannot see it showing in the NVIDIA control panel - am I missing something somewhere or checking in the wrong place maybe?

Can someone please advise how to check out this option and confirm the laptop actually has this feature
TIA, John

@ONtvChannels Welcome to HP Community!

Please refer to the below specification

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/omen-17-cb1000-laptop-pc-series/32827283/model/34926234/documen...

From its parts list, it only has non-Gsync parts, not Gsync parts

I am now totally at a loss and need some advice please...
I purchased this laptop specifically because reviews I read/watched and specs led me to believe that the NVIDIA 2070 fitted to this laptop supports G-SYNC as does the screen that HP fitted to work together with it...
This model (HP OMEN 17-cb1002na) is still available on Amazon UK, along with a similar 'new' spec model - the HP OMEN 17-cb1008na - looks like they've just updated the NVIDIA card to a 2070 'plus'
I spent 35 minutes talking to a guy in HP support and he assured me that this laptop has G-SYNC even though I am not seeing as an option in the NVIDIA control panel - following this conversation and the reply on this webboard AND much research I believe that I have the wrong panel fitted in my laptop and would like to return it to HP to have it changed...
I bought it initially because I need it to use with vMix live switching software that needs a G-SYNC panel to operate properly.
My question? How do I contact customer services to obtain an RMA to do this?
Do they have an email contact I can use?
Thanks in advance of a reply...
Best wishes to all, John
