Hi was wondering if the (OMEN by HP Laptop 17-cm2045no) supports the option to add another SSD and if the WD Black SN850X 2TB Gen 4 would be a good fit?

The series has DUAL storage option same as the ck2000 therefore YES, you can add one more  M.2 SSD to its second slot.
