Does this laptop have a Thunderbolt 3 port?

I've spoken to two different HP Support people, and they both gave me different answers. Does anyone know if this specific laptop has Thunderbolt 3?

which says they have

• 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 2 (10 Gb/s signaling rate, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge);
• 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (HP Sleep and Charge);
• 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data Transfer Only);
• 1 headphone/microphone combo

The USB-C Gen 2 and Thunderbolt 3 are not the same

The first reason you're getting two different answers is because you're dealing with a CTO model (config to order) which is customized at purchase, thus no specs will exist for it.

And second reason is that there are two different documents that contradict the answer.

The specs page on the HP Store page that Banhien pointed to says it does not.

BUT the HP content data base says it does.

Unfortunately the only way to truly know is to have it in your hands and look at the USB-C port on the left side.

If it has the sideways pitch fork and a lightning bolt, its not Thunderbolt.

If it only has a large lighting bolt, its Thunderbolt.
