Dose my laptop can plugged in during gamming. Will it damage the battery ??

Hi HP, I need to clarify my doubt. I have HP Pavilion gamming 15 ec0101AX  8 gb ram and nvidia gtx 1650 4gb graphic card.

when i started to play game before plugged the laptop it is getting lap and frame drop occurs. But when i plugged the laptop it become smooth. is it safe to play when plugged in ?? or it will damage the battery ? so PLEASE clarify my doubt, my charger is 150 w.

Normally to get full gaming experiences, we run machines on main to get peak performance. Batteries and chargers now are smarter than you thought, the process will stop and battery is full.
