Hi:
Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that only DDR4-3200 memory is supported in the model series.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
For future reference it is impossible to install a different DDR type memory in a PC designed to run a certain DDR type.
That is because in this example, DDR5 memory runs at a lower voltage than DDR4 memory, has a different number of contact pins and the slot in the memory board is cut in a different place than it is in a DDR4 memory chip, making it impossible to fit in the memory slot.
