HP Omen 15-dc1621nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cant find any info on the screen of the laptop(HP Omen 15-dc1621nd).  Im choosing a replacement laptop for my 2018 HP omen with a bad motherboard so Im interested in this one with good specs but I cant go back to 60hz.

So my question is simple: Is this one of thous 144hz, G-Sync models?

EDIT: It says that this models display is 220 nits, and both 220 nits displays of the omen series are 60 Hz only.

The manual looks like it left out the 2060 for that CPU which would be confusing. Sorry I cannot do anything about that.

The data base shows it does come with a 9750h and RTX 2060.

@SpaceCatPizza  That is a very good question. I wish I had a way of finding out also.

HP has dropped the ball that past few years in regards to making a complete set of specs available for their various lineups.

I have been the rounds with them about this very thing also.

Unfortunately I cannot find any info on which screen it actually comes with. All of my available sources are not complete either. I'm sorry.

But as I understand it, HP changed the requirements this time for the dc1000 series and its built-in G-sync enabled panels.

The only panel (for the dc1xxx) that is now g-sync enabled is the 240Hz version. I have asked about this and the only answer I got was, HP can periodically change system requirements as new models come out.

To cover yourself:  look up what the specs show from what ever seller you are buying from (assuming not the HP Store).

Make sure what that store's return policy is. Then if that store says it has a certain set of specs but then it doesn't, get a refund or exchange for something else.

According to the file you gave me there is no HP omen with a RTX 2060 and I7-9750h and now I'm officially confused.

Thanks for trying to help I will try and contact the seller about it.

**bleep** it it's a 60hz it would seem... the ENG file you just provided had a bit more details then my local one and it says that the display is "220 nits". The Maintenance and Service Guide says that both 220 nits displays are 60 hz.

That's a shame but thank you for helping me find the information, I dont think I could have find it out on my own.

So it does, good catch. I would assume the same conclusion at this point.
