OMEN by HP Laptop 17-cm2003TX (7K4K0PA)
Microsoft Windows 11

I bought this laptop OMEN by HP Laptop 17-cm2003TX (7K4K0PA) around 9 months ago with very high hopes given the brand. This is an expensive laptop and you would not expect such an issue with something as basic as a touchpad. The touchpad suddenly turns erratic, cursor does not move, and then moves only partially. It would start working alright randomly and then again behave erratically. You keep doing Touchpad reset in the Windows settings which will solve the problem only temporarily. Applied all recommended solutions - Driver install/uninstall/install, reset touchpad etc. I have scanned all websites and HP support sites to find a resolution only to discover that many users like me are facing the same issue with this 17 inch Omen laptop and are left frustrated with no permanent fix. I am seriously concerned about the quality testing at HP. My laptop is still in warranty and I would expect HP to provide a replacement for the same as it is an unsolvable problem.
