I have tried the recommended troubleshooting steps to solve this documented issue yet nothing has worked. I also tried changing power plan settings towards performance and nothing has changed. Updates to anything on my laptop don't seem to have an impact. Reduced performance mode makes my laptop nearly unusable and only allows for the most  basic and least intensive programs to be run at any decent framerate. My only suspect is my charger in that the laptop claims that it is a low power source and requests that I plug in the original adapter (which is long gone due to wear and tear). Then confusing part is that my device chargers perfectly fine with the charger I am currently using. it is 19.5 volts at 4.62 amps.
