Expired Warranty but Omen 17 Keyboard and external damage repair needed

Some keys on my keyboard are not working and some external damage. Since my warranty has expired, I wanted to get an estimate on the cost of repair. ( I took some images of the damage) If possible, would there be a discount if I purchase insurance repair coverage right away, or is this too late for my product?

That is indeed unfortunate.  First, check your warranty status once again if you haven't done so already: Official HP® Warranty Check – United States | HP® Customer Support. If your warranty has expired, I would take your laptop to a local PC repair/service store and ask them for an estimate.

Or -depending on your repair-savviness, you could endeavor to replace your keyboard yourself. There are helpful tutorial videos available online, like here: (256) Remove and Replace the Keyboard | OMEN X by HP 17-ap0xx | HP - YouTube. You could try to find a keyboard replacement through Accessories | HP® Official Store, but that may not work.  You'll have to do some research yourself to see if the following link represents the keyboard you need: New for HP omen 17-CB 17-cb0006ng cb0003xx cb0006xx cb0050nr US Backlit keyboard | eBay.
