I've bought HP pavillion gaming lapto 15ec0xxx and gradually it become slow hence, as suggested by experts I need to upgrade to ssd there for I just wanted to know the details and how many slots and capcity are there ....

Your notebook has one M.2 slot to support a PCIe Gen 3.0 NVMe SSD.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the list of supported drives HP offered in the model series.
If you wanted to install a NVMe SSD larger than 1 TB, that would be fine as long as the drive is single-sided.
A PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD will also work but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from the Gen 3 slot.
