Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to change the fan speed on the computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue facing the issue, then install HP system event utility from the below link.

Hi, Im really sorry for the late reply and thank you for your help. But, unfortunately nothing worked out. When this shortcut used to work FN+N HP Omen Control was changing fan speed from normal to maximum or the backward, when you prees this combo you can see Omen Control change selection of fan speed. Now it does nothing, I also never have been able to change profiles with shortcuts, the FN+R and FN+T also don't work. This is frustrating please help

Have you tried reinstalling the HP Omen Control?
Please try logging into a New User Account and check if the HP Omen Control works in the new Account

I recommend you uninstall the Omen command center from the computer and then download and install it from the Microsoft store and check whether the issue is resolved.

Since the issue persists I suggest you perform a Reset and let me know if that works
