OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a (207P7AV)

My open 30L desktop computers front light panels randomly stopped working one day, and I have been trying to figure it out, when I go to the omen gaming hub, I go to lighting to try and see if the installation of my lighting panel is not working. every tutorial I see says to check the zones, but my gaming hub does not have zone options?  I tried running as admin but the program wouldnt even boot up

Hi @waybae,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're experiencing issues with the front panel lights on your OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a. Let's troubleshoot this step by step:

  • Hardware Check: Ensure that the front panel lights are properly connected to the motherboard. Sometimes loose connections can cause issues. Make sure the cables are securely plugged in.
  • Software Check: Since you mentioned using the OMEN Gaming Hub to control the lights, let's focus on that. If the program isn't booting up properly, it might indicate a software issue.

a. Reinstallation: Try uninstalling the OMEN Gaming Hub completely and then reinstalling it from scratch. This might fix any software glitches causing the program not to boot up.

b. Compatibility: Ensure that the version of the OMEN Gaming Hub you're using is compatible with your system's operating system. Sometimes, updates or changes to your OS can cause compatibility issues with software.

  • Drivers Update: Make sure that all your system drivers, especially those related to the motherboard and lighting control, are up to date. Outdated drivers can cause various issues, including malfunctioning of hardware components.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
