Hi @Berkutss,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
High temperatures, especially near or at 100°C, can be concerning for your laptop's components. Here are some steps you can take to address this issue:
Check for Dust Buildup: Dust accumulation can hinder airflow and contribute to higher temperatures. Use compressed air to clean out the vents and fans of your laptop.
Ensure Proper Ventilation: Place your laptop on a flat, hard surface to allow for adequate airflow. Avoid using it on soft surfaces like beds or couches, as these can block ventilation.
Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Sometimes, driver updates include performance optimizations that can help reduce heat generation.
Reduce Graphics Settings: Lowering the graphics settings in your games can reduce the workload on your GPU, potentially lowering temperatures.
Use a Cooling Pad: Consider using a laptop cooling pad to help dissipate heat more effectively.
Consider Repasting: If you're comfortable with it, consider repasting the thermal paste on your CPU and GPU. Over time, the thermal paste can degrade, leading to poor heat transfer.
Check for Background Processes: Close any unnecessary background applications that may be taxing your CPU or GPU.
If despite these efforts, your laptop continues to run at high temperatures, it may be worth consulting phone support for hardware and services if needed.
