Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey, I have the pavilion 15 gaming laptop and it'll run games smoothly on battery power but as soon as I plug in the charger while playing any game it maxes out my gpu usage and instantly drops down to like 5fps. I got all the updates for Windows and nivida game ready drivers but I can't seem to fix this problem
