I have been on hold for 30 minutes!  My nephews laptop will not power up (power light and keyboard light up).  It broke 3 days after the warranty expired. My sister-in-law called and rep basically said too bad.  I expressly purchased this computer due to HPs reputation. I am somewhat concerned that they may have dismissed my sister-in-law's request because of her heavy accent. 

 

Since the serial number is our of warranty, I cannot find any way to contact support on their website. Very frustrating. Any suggestions by anyone?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

I am having a problem with HP Smart that started a few weeks ago and Smart tries to force me to set up a cloud arrangement that is contrary to my security requirements.  How may I use SMART without bothering with the cloud issue??
