I can’t believe my 4 month old Omen 17 needs servicing already. Had so much trouble since I bought my unit. First with my ac adapter and now the unit needs servicing. I would’nt recommend hp product so disappointed

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

 

Please run a Diagnostic Test and let me know if you hear that Grating Sound

 

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the Notebook.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. 
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Audio
