Dears,
i have a laptop Hp omen with specifications
FHD(1080p) , 8 GB ram ,1 TB HDD ,128 SDD , processor core i7 6700 HQ and finally the VGA card is Nividia gtx 965m
i wanna buy a Tv to do gaming on it but the TV is UHD 3840x2160p but i'm afriad it wouldn't give me the same performance as the FHD lid of the laptop so the question is can i do gaming on UHD TV with the same performance as i do on FHD screen? and what version of HDMI port this laptop has?
Thank you in advance,

As I mentioned, yes you can still download movies in 4K and watch them. You can also work in other programs like photo editing and such. 4K will work for for this.
Its only gaming that will suffer.
You will need to adjust your video games settings down to 1080 and in Windows output.
Everything else will be fine.

Absolutely Not. That graphics chip was design for 1080p gaming, not 4K. Since 4K is four times a 1080p screen, it will eat up a lot more hardware resources to drive such a large resolution.
TV's also don't have as fast a response time (measured in milliseconds) as apposed to an actual pc monitor and for some, this can also make a big difference, especially for live online gaming.
A 4K monitor will be fine for browsing the web and other things.
The HDMI port will support HDMI 2.0 and support an external 4K monitor.
Hope that helps.

is that right in all games i can choose the resolution?
and is there a way to make the TV works on FHD instead of UHD for example if i downloaded a movie in FHD and play it on a UHD TV i think it will work on FHD! the same here if i can control my resolution of the TV to do gaming on it.
