OMEN 15-dc0023np
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello.

I need help in getting my problem solved.

I am located in Portugal and I bought an HP OMEN 15-dc00023np on the 29th of September from a reputable walk in store. Immediately after turning the laptop on Inoticed major bleeding on the corners of the display. I contacted HP support right away and the laptop was sent to repair. 15 days later it came back exactly the same (plus a crack on the bottom case that I assume was the carrier fault). Another complaint and the laptop goes once again for repair. Another 15 days. This time they replaced the screen, and the bottom case, but the problem persists.
Another complaint to HP support and this time they decide to send the case to Quality Control for assessment. One day later I get a call from Quality control claiming the light bleed is a feature of the screen and there's nothing else they can do.
Thay completely sidelined me.
Can anyone help or recommend another course of action?
Thank you.

Considering how Laptops panels are made There is bound to be some sort of back light bleed on all laptops, The problem relies on how much there is. Ive seen back light bleed on 3K worth of laptops but Ive seen no back light bleed on my older 1k HP ENVY x360, But there is some bleed on my OMEN 17.... So its a gamble.

Unless the back light bleed is super intrusive (I cant see any pics you uploaded if you did) meaning you can actually see the back light in normal use (Not only when the screen is black) then any normal back light bleed is considered NORMAL... As much as how TV manufacturer says you can always get a dead pixel? back light bleed is a common thing on laptops...

I personally would not keep risking my laptop in transit just to have a perfect screen..  That is unless the Back Light is indeed incredibly instrusive.

I have worked with many different laptops over the years, somo from HP, and have never had this problem with any screen.
The "It´s a feature" argument just doesn't hold up. My area is motion graphics and I absolutely need a properly functioning screen.

PS: The initial post has pictures but here they are again.
