Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I said it has Windows 10 64bit because that’s what it used to have but apparently not anymore. Basically I had some software that was spoofing my Hardware id and it didn’t kept saying activate windows, so I deleted all the software and restarted and it wouldn’t go away. I tried a lot of other stuff to but nothing worked. Eventually I tried to reset it but I’d didn’t work it kept saying something went wrong and no changes were made. This is when I went into trouble shooting after it failed and I found HP Recovery manager and chose to do a reset kind of thing on there. I hit start and got error that said HP recovery manger failed. Error code = 0xEFFFFF23. I figured is was the same sorta thing and hit ok but now I get a black screen that says BOOT DEVICE NOT FOUND

PLEASE INSTALL AN OPERATING SYSTEM ON YOUR HARD DISC

HARD DISC - (3FO)

If anyone knows anything about how I can fix without buying another windows it would be a huge help, thanks.

Hi:

Depending on how old your notebook is, if it was made in 2016 or later, you can reinstall W10, the drivers and software that came with your PC by making a bootable recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery client utility.

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...

Or you can make a bootable W10 USB installation flash drive using the Microsoft media creation tool at the link below to clean install W10.

You will need access to another working Windows PC for either of these options.
