Hi!

I bought an HP Thunderbolt dock 230w with G2 Combo Cable, however the charger barrel on the cable doesn’t fit my HP Omen 17 laptop. Is there a way to change the cable or a barrel size converter?

thanks in advance,

AT

What is your HP Omen 17 laptop. Most likely your HP Omen 17 laptop is NOT compatible with your dock.

Thanks Banhien,

I definitely realize, after purchasing it, that it isn’t compatible, however I need to know what dock IS compatible, if it isn’t simply a matter of a different combo cable or barrel size converter. Do you happen to know what dock would be compatible?

thanks,

Sorry, I can't give you wrong advise which may damage both devices (machine and the dock).

Is there no HP Employee that can help with this? Calling customer support has me on hold for hours with no one answering.
