I'm extremely frustrated with HP. It seems every product I've had of theirs is faulty. I've hardly used this laptop over the time I've had it - I've never been rough with it or dropped it, I'm the only one who has access to it. However, the other day I had just opened it in a normal fashion and I heard a loud pop. Not knowing what it was I carried on with my work. Today I get on it to work, everything seems normal, I push it back a bit and next thing I know my screen shatters sending glass shards into my arm, hand, and neck. I further inspect it, only to find the hinge broke inside of it screen and has now broken off and pushed out the bottom right hand corner. I look at reviews and see this was a known problem with no recall or fix/ solution besides having to pay for a costly repair. Now I have a laptop with a broken screen that I can't shut and I use it for work and it's my only means of income currently. HP has lost my business. What if this had happened to a child and they had glass shards stuck in their arm?
