HP OMEN 15 Shutting down while gaming

HP Recommended
HP OMEN 15-ce012nc
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had this notebook for hardly 5 months but noticed this issue only after the recent big windows 10 update a few weeks back.

Sometimes when gaming my monitor dims for a second or two indicating it's running on battery power while the AC is plugged in and after a while it just shuts itself off with no warning. Also the dimming doesn't always happen before the shutdown, often the shutdown happens with no warning signs like that. When i start the notebook back up i notice that i'm generally missing around 20-40% charge from my battery.

I've tried updating all drivers, updating BIOS, different power settings, different sockets for the AC adapter, editing the power plan, cleaning out dust, turning off Intel Turbo Boost (which seemed to help for a few days, but now it's happening again.), i ran a check on all components in the UEFI Diagnostics, lowering all graphical settings ingame....

I'm seriously starting to regret this purchase. Is there something that can be done? Did i just get a faulty piece or is it a known issue? Can i fix it on my end or do i have to send it in for repairs and make do without the machine for a month?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
