Hello everyone and a Happy New Year!

I am interested in upgrading my HP 15-dc0004nq's memory. I currently have 12Gb (1 8g + 1 4GB) and I am looking to max out my memory. I understand that my model (4KH34EA#AKE) supports 32GB maximum memory but I would like your help with some details.

Doses it support dual channel? ECC ? What frequency should I get? Is it worth to get something like Crucial Ballistix 3200 mhz (doses the motherboard support Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) ?

If someone could provide some examples / links that would be greatly appreciated.

Below is the link to the Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook.

 

I would recommend you buy one of the compatible memory kits from them or enter the part number you are interested in where you can buy it in Romania.

 

I recommend this kit...

 

Crucial 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) DDR4-2666 SODIMM | CT2K16G4SFD8266 | Crucial IN

 

Your notebook does not support ECC memory, I wouldn't get any of the performance memory because you can't change the XMP profile in the BIOS.

 

Stick with the basics.
