Hi, My left USB port suddenly stopped working, it did always work but since a couple of days it has stopped working.
I already tried switching between the windows energy settings and also tried booting with F2 to test it from there. I get an failure ID 6C2B7K-AMCB4E-MFPV4J-8D0V03.
I searched on the HP website for this failure ID and i get the message "USB Failure (unspecified)". Has anyone an idea what it could be? is still have 1 year warranty on my laptop but I would rather fix it myself because i am scared to send it over the mail for damage

I suggest using the warranty while you still have it.
One nice thing is that the mail service in the Netherlands is very reliable and safe.
It isn't like here in the States. I am speaking from personal experience, even though I have had relatives who worked for the Postal service..
The Diagnostic failure ID translates to a Failure code 434.
That is a hardware failure code, so reinstalling the chipset driver is unlikely to help.
The USB port board is likely to need replacing.

Ah okay :(, Do you think I should direct ask HP to fix my laptop or first ask the shop [Content Removed] where i bought it?
Edit: I also read something about i can order the parts i need and fix it myself under warrenty.

It will be warranty work, so you will need to initiate a warranty case.
I will provide the link for you in a moment.

"Edit: I also read something about i can order the parts i need and fix it myself under warrenty."
Where did you read that? I doubt it since this will require a pretty complete disassembly to get to the point where you can remove the USB module and plug in the new one.
Warranty work is warranty work.
It must be done by an HP authorized service agent or HP service center, unless it involves a CSR (consumer replaceable part) part.
This is what the module looks like.
