Hey,

 

So I recently bougth a HP OMEN 15-dc0031np with a nvidia gtx 1050. Since the purchage that I am trying to set the dedicades gpu to be the default, and after a long time searching and tryint to achieve that, I just wasn't able to find the solution for my problem. The laptop still uses the integraded, the Intel UHD Graphics 630.

 

I can't also set individual programs to run with the nvidia gpu, it refuses acces and it fails to apply the settings to the system.

Could you post a screen shot of what you are seeing in the Nvidia control panel thats not working?

I would assume if you fully uninstall the Nvidia Driver and clean install the latest update, it should function properly.
