HP OMEN — 17-w226ur
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Sorry for my bad english.

After updating the BIOS to version Version F.50, 11/09/2018 The laptop began to overheat during the game and give out a blue screen. According to the sensors, it is the video card that overheats. Increasing the speed of the cooler is at 90C and it works not exactly at full capacity.

Tell me, I need to roll back the BIOS version or is there a way to change the temperature modes of the cooler or something else.

I don't care how loudly the laptop works, it is important for me that it does not overheat.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I see that you're experiencing blue screen issue while playing games and after bios update system is overheating,

Let's try:

Hard reset:

1) Shutdown the computer.

2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.

3) Remove the Battery.

4) Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.

5) Plug-in the Adapter and put the Battery back into the computer.

6) Try to turn on the computer.

Next, follow the steps mentioned in this document: click here and to reduce Heat Inside the Laptop to Prevent Overheating: Click here

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
