HP OMEN 17-CB0050NR
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all.

I have a question regarding the HP OMEN 17-CB0050. Is the graphics card RTX 2080 or RTX 2080 MAX-Q? What is the graphics card’s base clock speed? What about the HP OMEN 17-CB0090NR?

Thank you.

Hello @Jimmy42

All the documentation points to the card being the full version 2080 for the Omen 17-cb0xxx series.

Its confusing because the little brother to that series, the 15-dh0xxx series does use a 2080 max-q.

I have put in an inquiry with HP's engineers and am waiting an answer for true confirmation before I answer completely.

I don't know when I will get the answer, but I will let you know when I do.

IF you don't hear back from me in 3 or 4  days, do post back to remind me.

Thanks.

PS: I don't trust You Tube reviews, thus I want HP to respond directly.
