After a windows update, I am not able to access the omen command centre settings. Earlier I used to have: System performance, Lighting, performance enhancement and now all I get is the game stream. The omen button is also not working. What should i do to get the setting back to the way they were. The Command centre is also updated to the latest version but that does not make any difference

I recommend you uninstall Omen command center and then download and install it from the below link and check.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp93001-93500/sp93236.exe
If you continue facing the issue, then download and install HP system event utility from the below link and test.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp88001-88500/sp88257.exe

Welcome to HP Support Community
Please uninstall the HP Omen Command Center, restart the Notebook and download the Omen Command Center from Windows Store
Click this Link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/omen-command-center/9nqdw009t0t5 for download
You can refer to this Link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4028054/windows-10-repair-or-remove-programs for help with the uninstallation
I also suggest you update the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
