Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have recently got an omen laptop.

all was working fine for 3 days. when the graphics card stopped being recognised.

How do i fix this in a way that will last and doesn't involve me just turning off windows updates forever more as that doesn't feel very sustainable. there\ must be a better way or is hp just selling a dodgy product with inadequate support.
after spening 2k+ youd expect something that works and good fixes.

@Th2RedWizard

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

  1. Open Device Manager, click Start > Control Panel > Device Manager.
  2. Expand the Display adapter.
  3. Double-click on your graphic driver.
  4. Select the Driver tab.
  5. Click Roll Back Driver to restore.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
