I bought an HP Omen-X laptop the last year around May. Now the battery is gone. It got bulged and even spoiled the case. I did not expect this from such a reputed company like HP. I couldn't even find a replacement for this now. I never expected my first costly device would go to the garbage like this. I'm totally devastated by this experience. How could I recommend HP products to someone if a laptop that I bought did not even have battery life for a year? I feel like my money is wasted.

Its not just HP batteries doing this. Ive been reading of the other manufacturers having the same issues.
It all started when everyone switched over to internal battery designs, instead of using the tried and true removable type.
They do this when they either get really hot during prolonged 'battery only' usage, or they are at their end of life.
I don't like it anymore than you do.
All I can do is ask if someone at HP can contact you.
How long have you been out of warranty?
