HP Omen 15-dc0010ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I need some help with choosing a battery for my Omen. I have used the SR03XL before but i noticed that it would not last as long as i expected it to do and i am now thinking about going for the SR04XL but i don't know if it is worth it. I already know that the SR04XL operates at greater capacity and even more power (74 wH if i am not wrong) than the SR03XL. I looked up for some options on Amazon but they all seem the "same" , the only differences being in the voltage and battery capacity. Any help is highly appreciated!

The specs of your machine is

             https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06146030

It uses  3-cell, 52 Wh Li-ion part # L08855-855 due to it only has NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti (4 GB GDDR5 dedicated) GPU. You should ba able to use  4 cell 70 Whr 4.55 Ahr LI SR04070XL-PL battewry part # 917724-855 which is N/A from HP Parts store

            https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=917724-855

I've found some places in North America where they sell compatible batteries but HP won't allow me to post those links. Please use part # and search yourself.

Regards.
