Product: HP OMEN Notebook - 15-5006tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have this device HP OMEN Notebook 15 (2015 Model)

 

Specs:-

i7-4710HQ @ 2.60Ghz

16gb Ram DDR3 1600Mhz

256gb SSD (31% Health)

Intel HD 4600 + GTX 860M 4gb

 

When I try to update its BIOS to (F.48) using the official update package which I installed from the product's support page, it gives this weird issue

 

I launch the package file, it extracts the contents and then as the HPFlashWinx32.exe starts, my windows freezes. I cannot do anything except for holding down the power button and force restarting the laptop.

 

Please guide me on how can I fix this problem.
