Omen 15-dc1005na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey, I just purchased an Omen 15-dc1005na and updated all drivers and BIOS but the G-Sync settings aren't visible in NVIDIA control panel. The datasheet for the product lists it at having G-Sync support as does HP's youtube video for this specific model. Does anybody know how to enable it?

Thanks.

@MrAcceptable,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I recommend you download and install the graphics driver from the below link.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp93001-93500/sp93427.exe

Then follow the below steps to enable G-sync.

  1. Right click on your desktop.
  2. Select NVIDIA Control Panel.
  3. Expand the display item in the sidebar.
  4. Click on set up G-Sync.
  5. Check the box next to enable G-Sync.
  6. Below this choose whether you want G-Sync enabled for only full screen or full screen and windowed modes.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

I uninstalled the old graphics driver, downloaded and installed the one you provided and restarted my laptop but I still can't see any relevant settings unfortunately.

The reason why you don't see G-Sync is that your Laptop doesn't support G-Sync and I'm surprised that people from HP Support don't know such basic information about new Laptops...
