It has been 1 month since I am using my laptop. I realized that whenever I close my laptop , it seems as if the hinge wants to rip itself apart from the base ( see picture ). I had 2 questions :-

1. What is the hinge actually attached to inside the laptop base? Do the bolts that connect the hinge to the laptop base attached to the metal keyboard deck or the plastic base/bottom enclosure? I don't want to damage the metal deck as replacing it will be expensive. 

2. Also is there a plastic hold/mount inside that is attached to the hinge via the bolts in order to protect the metal deck ?

3. In case the hinge ends up destroy the aluminium deck , what is the approx replacement cost going to be ? ( including the hinges , keyboard deck & plastic mounts [if there are any ] inside the laptop base)
