HP Omen 15 dc1044na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi.

I have an HP Omen 15 dc1044na gaming laptop and recently my laptop charger stopped working and had to end up replacing it with a new one.

My question is, what is the maximum power output the charger provides and is the charger safe to be used on an extension cord with other appliances hooked on to the extension cord like a TV, games console (say a PS4 pro for example) and mobile chargers seeing that maximum amp output on an extension cord is 13amp.

@metaphantom, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

This model Notebook supports a 200 W AC power adapter and has a 4-cell, 70 Wh Li-ion polymer battery. Yes, you may connect the charger to an extension/surge protector. However, HP recommends connecting it directly to the wall outlet.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
