OMEN 15-dc1054nr

I'm searching to buy a new gaming laptop. But I need to upgrade the RAM to 32 Gbps.

Can HP Omen 15-dc1054nr be upgraded to 32 Gbps instead of 16 Gbps?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, 2 x 16 GB should not be a problem.

According to the specs unfortunately, HP installed 2 x  8 GB in there to get the 16 GB total.

Good if you never wanted to upgrade the memory, bad now that you have to buy 2 16 GB memory modules.

Below is the link to the service manual...The service manual also indicates that 2 x 16 GB of memory is supported.

Hi:

According to the Crucial memory report you can install up to 64 GB of memory in your notebook, so 2 x 16 GB should be a problem.

do you mean 2*16 should not be a problem?

Also does the laptop have 1*16 DDR4 memory or 2*8 DDR4 memory?
