Hello,

I have issues with thermal throttling.. CPU rises up to 97-98 celsius which is insane, because if I touch the keyboard I'll get burned.

As for GPU temperature it rises up to 88-89 degrees which causes huge frame drops in game..

Frame drops occur after GPU temp rises to 86.. I need to keep it under 86 degrees.

I used throttlestop to undervolt cpu so I get lower temperatures.. but I can't undervolt gpu, how do you guys lower the gpu temperature.. so this laptop can actually be useful for something.. and not a $1300 ripoff..

Thank You.

Josip

I've managed to fix it..

First I had to undervolt the CPU, undervolt the GPU, and change thermal paste + buy a coolingpad and 2 opolar vacuum fans..

To get the temps under 65C under full load for GPU, as for CPU, it's under 85C under heavy load...

And clean my laptop with an air compressor..

Sorry for taking your time..

85C is good temperature for i5 8300h? Can it last several years under that temp?
