Hi Guys , i have issue with HP OMEN 15 dc1001nx
overheating when the laptop is plugged in , when the processor in idle it reaches 75 and while gaming it reach 99 i know this is abnormal and games have lag and a lot of drop in FPS this is what i did but didn't work
- Update BIOS
- Reset Windows 10
- undervolt through intel xtu , MSI afterburner
4.Change thermal paste
5.put the the power mangement state to 99% but the performance is very low and fps is reduced by 50% ( temperature is ok for this around 75% ) but can't keep it up as i have new laptop
6.check fan speed are ok
7.no dust in the fan or laptop
laptop is put over 4 fans stand with 6 speed
all of these things didn't solve the problem , our dealer of HP reject it to be covered under warranty as i lost the invoice . even it is still under warranty

Looks like you have already done everything any of us would have suggested.
If reinstalling the OS, Undervolting, repasting, etc etc did no good what so ever, you need to contact HP Support directly for a warranty issue.

Yesterday i changed the thermal paste with known brand arctic mx-4 and it helped litte , now the CPU temperature varies 89-94 which helps in keeping the FPS constant but i believe this is not the ideal temperature
