OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-b0000 (2W6B3AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I purchased HP Omen (16-b0360TX) laptop from an offline store about 10-11 months ago and have been facing this issue since the time of purchase. The left and right click buttons on the touchpad are not working properly (Maybe work sometimes) and cause inconvenience while using the device.

I have already tried several steps to resolve this issue, including updating the BIOS, re-installing the touchpad driver several times from the official HP website, and running hardware tests, but to no avail.

Hardware test failure Id: GTRX73-B1PBGR-MFPV4K-G48E03, GTRX73-B1PBGR-MFPV4K-G1SN03

I kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue as soon as possible.

To resolve the touchpad buttons issue on your HP Omen 16.1 laptop, you can try the following steps:

  1. Uninstall the touchpad driver from Device Manager and restart the laptop to reinstall the driver automatically.

  2. Check if there is a newer version of the touchpad driver available on the HP website and install it.

  3. If the issue persists, run a full diagnostic test of your laptop hardware using HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI to check for any hardware problems.

  4. If the hardware diagnostic test passes, reset your laptop to its original factory settings.

  5. If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you can contact HP Support for further assistance or consider a hardware repair.
