I've tried the latest Adrenalin drivers, and the latest Pro drivers, but both exhibit the same visual artifacts.

I did a clean install on both versions, but predictably, this did not resolve the problem.

I haven't made the registry changes yet - I'm still running the software you kindly wrote.

This is a frustrating issue, isn't it? I'm considering returning this laptop.

Same thing on windows 10. Lowering the refresh rate helps a little, but the artifacts are still present.

Hi i was having the same problem, i went to control manager and disabled the igpu to see if it was a problem with de dgpu o the igpu and now the back screens i had and artifacts are gone.

tested it for 1 week and nothing, dont know why in my case the igpu is probably having issues connecting of comunicating with the dgpu.

i also tested de cpu to check if i had some performance lost and on the contrary, cinebench scores were 100 points higher and temps were 5c lower. I thought at first it was a thermal issue so i changed the thermal grease and paste.

The app on part 1 works great didnt have issues but didnt like the ram ussage of it so i looked for a workaround because hp wont do nothing about it.

Hello giop94,

How did you disable the iGPU?

The latest AMD drivers just came out.
Has anyone installed and tested them?

I am seriously considering selling this laptop.
I don't know how to use it with external monitors anymore.
