Product: OMEN Laptop - 17-cb1010ca

Greetings,

 

I am looking for some insight/help as to why my HP Omen 17 goes into SLEEP mode when playing a game.  I purchased this Laptop initially for graphic work as the gaming systems are far better for this.

 

Recently I was given a game Age of Empires IV and when playing it the laptop randomly goes to sleep and is difficult to get it up and running again.  I have to shut my game down and then all seems well once rebooted.  

 

I have checked my WIndows UPdate and all seems to be good, my Bios Firmware version is AMI F.39, 2023-3-29 and assume it is the current version as no updates are showing in my HP Support Assistant.

 

Does anyone have suggestions as to why this is happening and how to correct it?  I have also turned off my SLEEP mode in my settings....
