Hey all,

Thought I'd post that I had this issue and the HP technician on the phone seems to have solved it by uninstalling the trackpad driver, manually reinstalling the driver and updating the BIOS to latest version. Worth a call if you're stuck, I have a call back in 24 hours to see if solution still works but will keep you all posted!

I can confirm this hasn’t worked. Exploring other options with HP but feel very let down that such a premium laptop has such a fundamental problem rendering it unusable.
