Hi there,

I recently bought an HP OMEN LAPTOP - 17-CK2778NG - GEFORCE RTX™ 4080 directly from the hp store that
will arrive in the upcoming days.

Because of the nature that there are no further information around the web and the notebook can only be ordered

from the HP store i hope that someone can answer some questions i currently have.

- Is the dGPU (RTX 4080) the only integrated graphics device or is there also a iGPU (Intel Iris Xe)? The overview page does not mention an iGPU at all but other laptops have them.

- Does the mentioned notebook has a mux-switch / nvidia advanced optimus on board?

- What is the wattage level of the built in rtx 4080? Is it 150W?

Thank you for your time and helpful answers 🙂

So i received the Laptop. If someone else is also interested:

- The wattage of the built in RTX 4080 is 150W + 25W so it is a non limited graphics card

- The laptop offers NVIDIA Advanced Optimus. You will have the ability to disable the iGPU via Bios, or select dGPU only mode directly from the NVIDIA Control Panel.

HP has NOT published its specs. My old machine's specs

Can you see any missing on its specs ? It actually has

no igpu.png

Its iGPU is disabled and owner won't be able to enable it.

Probablely you have to wait and see.

Regards.
