Hello Hp Team

It is not good for me to be one of who purchase the damaged device and the company not replace the laptop , I buy a new laptop you should  replace the laptop under the warrenty , Please solve this issue  , the laptop caused me a lot of problems in my projects

 

Please note : I am in the middle east and the support in the middle east is too bad .

As you pointed out in your YouTube video, yes it is a grounding issue. Some of the earlier units were affected at assembly.

HP is aware of it and will repair the issue under warranty. HP only replaces a computer if they cannot fix physically fix the issue with a repair.

 

A couple of questions...

  • How long ago did you contact HP? Perhaps it was last year before HP implemented the fix? If an agent tells you they don't know about the issue, ask to have your case escalated to either a manager or the next tier.
  • Did you purchase the laptop in the same country you are living in now? You have to contact HP Support in the country it was purchased in.
