Hello,
I just recently received my HP Omen Accelerator and with help, I managed to set up the graphics card inside (EVGA GeForce GTX 1060) and set it up properly. I updated my BIOS and firmware to the latest along with the Thunderbolt 3 drivers and port and everything downloaded safely. Finally when connecting the Omen to my laptop, it was detected by my system but not by the thunderbolt port and Omen Accelerator did not seem to turn on despite the red light inside being on. When trying to launch the Omen Accelerator app it doesn't detect it and gives the error message, "Realtek Lightweight filter driver is not installed or is not detected,". I don't know what to do at this point since I'm 99% sure my laptop is compatible with the Accelerator (ASUS ROG G752VL) and I can't find any information on the driver.
Any help would be appreciated.

A Warm Welcome to the Hp support forums and a good day to you. It will be an honor to assist you here. I see that you've posted for the first time and let's try to work as a team to figure things out. Terrific technical competence and great description of the issue. Kudos to you for that,
For now, Let me keep you posted about a few things here.
This Realtek error refers to the audio drivers of the Omen accelerator.
- So I would request you to try these steps:
- Uninstall Omen command Center completely.
- Then download the latest version from the Windows store and check if it works.
- Later run all the latest updates and drivers from the HP support site from http://hp.com/drivers for the Omen accelerator which includes the chipset and the firmware updates.
- Then run all the latest Windows 10 updates on your PC and ensure that they are correctly installed.
- Then follow this document https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05573720 to set up the Omen accelerator
- Also please check this forum link:: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Notebooks/realtek-lightweight-filter-driver-is-missing-for-Omen... for the audio drivers which is authored by a Frum Expert.
Now check if the issue gets resolved. Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂
