Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
Riddle_Decipher, is at your service (Like a Genie, however, without magic powers) 😉
As I understand the Omen command center is missing macros since the latest update,
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
- Have you attempted to install an older version of omen command center from the HP website?
- If not, Click here and look under revision history for older versions.
- If not, Click here and look under revision history for older versions.
- Did the command center come with your computer (Pre-installed)?
- If not, the options would be missing, as it's not built for your device.
While you respond to that, here's what you need to do (if the software came preinstalled with your device) :
Use the following steps to reinstall original software or drivers.
-
In Windows, search for and open HP Recovery Manager.
If prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. If prompted by User Account Control to allow the program to make changes to the computer, click Yes.
-
Under Help, click Reinstall drivers and/or applications and wait for Recovery Manager to generate a list.
Figure : Recovery Manager
A combined list of applications and drivers to reinstall appears, with the drivers listed first.
Figure : List of drivers to reinstall
-
Select the checkbox next to the drivers you want to reinstall.
-
Scroll down to the list of applications.
Figure : List of applications to reinstall
-
Select the checkbox next to the applications you want to reinstall, and then click Install.
The computer installs the applications and drivers.
NOTE:
Some computers might not have software applications to install and an applications section might not be available. This is normal and software should be installed from the HP website or from the website of the software manufacturer.
-
When the Installation is completed message displays, click OK.
Figure : Installation is completed
-
Close all open applications, then restart your computer.
If the issue persists, try this experts opinion: Click here for steps.
Let me know how that pans out
I will have a colleague follow-up on this to ensure it's taken care off,
as I need to know if the issue has been resolved, to get proper sleep at night.

Thank you for responding,
This is the Riddle_Decipher, again!
It's great to have you back 😉
The reason I have provided the Steel Series Software is because your model doesn't seem to have an Omen controller,
besides, here's what you need to know about the software i recommend : This package provides the SteelSeries Engine software for supported gaming systems running a supported operating system. SteelSeries Engine software provides a user interface which allows control of the mouse and keyboard from one location. The SteelSeries Engine provides macro creation, and the ability to assign keystrokes for complete peripheral management.
Install it and assign the keystrokes using the same, let me know how it works.
Keep us posted,
(We shall troubleshoot as a team, fight till the end and emerge victorious)
