HP Omen 15 GTX 1060 6GB
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I recently purchased a new gaming laptop and using MSI afterburner and it's on screen display I have noticed when playing American truck simulator the GPU is around 80-83c and CPU 60-80c

Is this normal ?

OK thanks. Your model is OMEN by HP - 15-dc0507na

Your temps are fine and its normal to run hotter when gaming.

As long as its not staying in the high 90s during a game, you are good to go.

It would help us better if you mention what Omen model specifically?

The full product number can be found in the HP Support Assistant.

Generally speaking, if your system is running at those temperatures while in a game, you are golden.

Thank you for the reply as long as it doesn't go over 90c i should be good?

However when playing civilization V the GPU is below 80c but the CPU is at points over 90c but mostly around 80c and with 30-35% Used?
